About the artist
Tempest NeuCollins has been pursuing art in numerous forms since she was a young child. She embraced photography as an undergraduate, but as a graduate student she began to draw, then to paint, and then to make her own paper. Currently, she uses a combination of all the above to explore abstracted, muted, landscapes that explore perception, memory, and the landscape. More information about her process can be found on her website.
She holds an MFA in studio art from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Her work can be found in various group shows in and around New York City as well as at the Sharon Weiss Gallery in Columbus, Ohio.
